Become an Animal Reiki Leader!
This coming October, Shelter Animal Reiki Association (SARA) Co-Founder Leah D’Ambrosio and SARA Director Kelly McDermott Burns are hosting a Let Animals Lead® Method of Animal Reiki Teacher Intensive at the C.A.R.E. Foundation!
What is an Animal Reiki Teacher Training Intensive? It is a Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki Teacher certification course with three full days of learning and practicing how to teach Animal Reiki Levels 1, 2 and 3. Each day will be devoted to learning how to teach the unique techniques of this proprietary method, including a review and practice of all the traditional meditations, how to guide your students in understanding why we don’t use hands, and will include hours of training with the exotic and wild animals of C.A.R.E.!
Bonus! Not only will students receive one of a kind, manuals for each level of Animal Reiki, but also included in the class price are vegan lunches served each day of class and a special class dinner on Saturday at a local restaurant with Christin Buford, the founder of the C.A.R.E. Foundation and one of her wonderful monkeys!
Are you ready to rejuvenate? This Teacher Intensive Training is going to be like a mini-retreat. Not only will you be learning a valuable skill, you will be served yummy food, and make long lasting friendships! You will also be working with exotic animals and creating experiences that you will be able to share with your own students!
With each having over 15 years experience in teaching the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki, Leah and Kelly, will expertly guide you on how to become a confident and successful Animal Reiki teacher and leader! Students will come away prepared to teach animal reiki, lead presentations, and start their own business.
You might be asking yourself, why would I take this program and not a cheaper one? If you are someone that honors the human/animal bond and wants to be able to teach others the importance of supporting and treating animals ethically, there is no other course out there!
What makes us so unique? The Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki, created in 2004 by world renowned Animal Reiki expert, Kathleen Prasad, is the only system of Animal Reiki that is accepted in close to 100 shelters both here in the US and internationally and is currently being used in veterinary clinics, rehabilitation clinics, to support professional working animals, and with thousands of companion animals.
Our unique method has successfully supported tens of thousands of animals across the globe. It is also the first official Animal Reiki method that allows animals choice, freedom of movement and creates a space where true healing can occur.
No other Animal Reiki program can match the significant length of our history or the depth of our training, support, and resources.
If you have studied in the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki and are at least a Level 2 practitioner, this is the perfect next step for you. If you haven't studied in this system, SARA has many different classes to choose from that fulfill this requirement.
Don't let this chance pass you by! Enroll in this class and discover how to teach the most effective and widely supported system of Animal Reiki in existence. No other program offers such comprehensive training, support, and abundant resources. Join us now and embark on a journey that will forever transform your connection with animals and your ability to support their healing.

Travel Details
If you are traveling by plane, the Orlando International Airport is the closest airport. Apopka is approximately 45 minutes northwest of the airport. On your return flight, allow 90 minutes to get to the airport from Apopka to account for traffic and delays.
Transportation from Airport:
Unfortunately, there aren’t any shuttles to and from the airport but Uber and Lyft are both good options.
Fees range between $45 and $80 each way - depending on the time of day and the availability of cars.
A taxi is around $90 each way.
Car Rental:
If you need to rent a car, we highly recommend renting it through CarRentals.com. They traditionally have the lowest price and offer bookings for all the major and discount rental car companies.
Hotel:
We have a block of rooms reserved at:
Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-Apopka
321 S Lake Cortez Drive
Apopka, FL 32703
(407) 880-7861
The special rate is $149 per night plus taxes
Our group code is SAR.
The Hampton Inn is a suites hotel so you will have a refrigerator in your room. There are grocery stores very close to the hotel including Sprouts and Walmart. Both within walking distance.
Dining:
Close to the hotel are many fast food and dining options. All are within walking distance although to reach some you will have to cross a very busy 6-8 lane road. It’s very doable.
Alternative Lodging Location:
Mt. Dora is around 20 minutes north of Apopka. CARE is conveniently located between Mt. Dora and Apopka so either location works! If you are looking to make this a mini vacation, we highly recommend staying in Mt. Dora. It is an adorable little town right on a lake and has wonderful lodging and dining options. We do want to alert you that Mt. Dora is a little pricier than Apopka.
What to Pack:
CARE is located in a rural part of Apopka. You must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants and high socks are suggested as there are fire ants and other insects that love to munch on exposed skin!
Packing suggestions:
Sweater/light jacket for night
Long sleeved shirts
Short sleeved shirts
Pants - lightweight, comfortable preferred - we will be sitting a lot!
Comfortable shoes for walking
Reusable water bottle
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Mosquito repellant
Lightweight bag for carrying snacks, water and your manual
